Inn Ajijic is centrally located in the heart of town, and is within walking distance of the main plaza, the malecon (boardwalk at the lake), and many shops and restaurants. If you have a rental car, on-street parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Given the central location of Inn Ajijic, many of the town's shopping and dining experience are within walking distance. Also, the local bus station is around the corner and available for local trips.

The room was well appointed. The view from the little balcony was amazing. It was walking distance to stores and restaurants. The stairs to the penthouse are steep. We didn't have difficulty with them, but they would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.

The unit is on a 3rd floor, with a nice break when you reach the patio in the 2nd floor.. it is very nice, clean, beautiful views. Excellent location. Harold is excellent communicating, very responsive, and proactive. I would definitely stay at the Inn again when coming to Ajijic.

We really loved our stay at the penthouse. The view is lovely, the king sized bed is super comfortable and the shower is hot and wonderful. I also used the internet for work and it worked great. I would stay there again if I get the chance.

This is my second time staying at Harold’s, it’s a very unique place, the rooms are large and comfortable. The penthouse has the most amazing views of the lake and mountains. The location is perfect for walking and exploring the pueblo magico of Ajijjic.

This was my second check in. I like this Airbnb so much I don’t want to stay anywhere else. The combination of the view, the comfort of the bedding, the purified water, the guitar and violin music coming from the restaurant (stops at around 8 or 9), it all just so romantic. Harold has a good collection of books but you can also enjoy Netflix and YouTube etc. the Wi-Fi is fast and I used it to call home on FaceTime frequently. Just stellar location. Close to the best restaurants and easy to make new friends, I am traveling alone but have never felt alone. I even accidentally left my AirPods behind and wonderful Mimi found them and let me know after I left today. Just great!

I will say that there was an issue that occurred outside of the host's control and the way he addressed the situation was exemplary. There was an issue with a water pump and heater during the stay but Harold was always responsive and gave us alternate facilities for bathroom and shower use. At one point, he even took us to his main residence to shower. I would not hesitate to recommend Inn Ajijic to others. I travel a fair amount and the best indicator of service to me is service recovery. Things happen, but it is how a business responds and addresses the issues that is most important to me. In that regard, Harold excels. Thank you again.

A beautiful place in the centre of Ajijic so close to everything. that does mean that you're in the middle of Mexican village noise which is part of the experience but might be a bit noisy for some. Harold has an eye to design and attention to detail. Shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and everything you need to make a good cup of coffee. Harold could not have been more welcoming, flexible and friendly. We hope to be back soon.

Wonderful place to stay. The courtyard and room are seriously works of art. Harold was a great host, he met us when we got there and made sure we knew where everything was. Would definitely return!

The address of the property is Felipe Angeles 16, at the corner of Marcos Castellanos in Ajijic. The streets in Ajijic are not labeled well. When driving the Carretera (the main highway in Ajijic), look for El Pechugon rosteria. This is Marcos Castellanos, turn right. Go 1 block to Felipe Angeles and turn left. When you see the large mural on the building, you have arrived to Inn Ajijic. The entry door is to the right of the mural. Prior to your arrival, you will receive your front door entry code and room code. If you have a rental car, on-street parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Given the central location of Inn Ajijic, many of the town's shopping and dining experience are within walking distance. Also, the local bus station is around the corner and available for local trips.
