This lodging was exactly as advertised. Close to town and within walking distance to plaza, food, shopping, a pharmacy, a nice wine store, a bike shop, etc... Everything we needed. I really enjoyed the fully covered and useful terrace/sitting area and the lush atmosphere with all the flowers, birds and butterflies in the morning right outside our room's large sliding courtyard doors.
The price was fair, and Harold's place was clean and fully equipped with toiletries, linens, coffee, etc.
I would definitely stay here again.
This and two other rooms are located above a small courtyard restaurant that was not open during our visit so I cannot comment on the restaurant/food or its potential impact (pro or con) to our stay. I was looking forward to eating here, so maybe next time!

Todo... Muy cerca de la plaza y la zona del malecón, cerca de lugares para comer, cerca del Oxxo, cerca de los buses a gdl, muy tranquilo, vista a la montaña y al lago. Tienes agua para beber, aire acondicionado, agua caliente para ducharte, el baño es súper espacioso .. ame los productos de shampoo, acondicionador y jabón corporal, dejaron mi cabello hermoso! I had the pleasure of staying at Harold's place for about 9 days. The view from the penthouse is spectacular. The outdoor seating/lounge are is very lush with tropical plants. Harold and his staff are very attentive! Walking distance to everything. The Go Bistro eatery downstairs is very good and very convenient as well. The outdoor dining area is simply breathtaking. I would most definitely stay at this jewel of a place.

Muy limpio, agradable, bonito, cómodo, completo con todo lo que se requiere en cama, cocineta, baño. La cama muy cómoda.
Los dueños amables, educados y al pendiente.
La habitación y la terraza que tiene son bonitos y relajantes.
Muy cerca de la central de autobuses y a pocas cuadras de la plaza principal.
Felicidades! El único pero que le doy, es que abajo de la habitación hay un restaurante (la cocina) y encienden creo que el extractor de humo o algo así y el sonido es fuerte, de hecho hasta vibra el piso de la habitación.
De tres días que estuve, solo pasó un día y fueron tres veces como de 5 minutos, en un lapso de 30 minutos aprox.
(Entiendo que ésto, es externo al lugar y no es culpa de ellos).

If the room had a kitchen we would still be there. An amazing room in an amazing setting. Plus it is over one of our favorite restaurants the 'Go Bistro'. Bottom line... If the Queen's room is available. Book it. Our preference is to make our own breakfast. If this isn't an issue for you, there are plenty of breakfast options nearby.

Perfect location to Central Ajijic, easy to get around. Our guest room was great and although it had a restaurant downstairs that was busy at night we never heard a thing and slept great!! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

The room was neat, clean, organized and extremely comfortable. The attendant was courteous and professional.
While Go Bistro is not directly under your purview, please pass on to Pedro and his staff I enjoyed the tastiness of the meals and the friendly service.

This location was very convenient for me because it was within easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants and the Malecon. The furnishings of this spacious room were quite comfortable, especially the bed. As someone who appreciates good coffee, I found the complimentary coffee to be delicious. If it was available in the U.S., I would buy it to brew at home.

The room was well appointed. The view from the little balcony was amazing. It was walking distance to stores and restaurants. The stairs to the penthouse are steep. We didn't have difficulty with them, but they would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.

The unit is on a 3rd floor, with a nice break when you reach the patio in the 2nd floor.. it is very nice, clean, beautiful views. Excellent location.
Harold is excellent communicating, very responsive, and proactive.
I would definitely stay at the Inn again when coming to Ajijic.
